ESG Launch Film
Mirvac’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy is anchored in their purpose to Reimagine Urban Life. The strategy sets out clear targets for the business and ensures it can continue to make better choices and have a positive environmental and social impact into the future. The strategy focuses on six key areas: Climate Change, Natural Resources, Community, People, Social Inclusion, and Partnerships. With the release of a revised strategy on the horizon Mirvac approached us to produce a film to celebrate the launch.
The new strategy represents a serious ‘stake in the ground’ clearly stating the kind of business Mirvac want to be and more importantly what kind of legacy they want to leave behind. Powerful stuff. Which we articulated with equally powerful imagery. Major players from all areas of the business are filmed in extreme close-up, in black and white, with nowhere to hide. The footage is paired with animations based on drawing from First Nation artist Riki Salam. Riki’s quirky scribbles cover themes such as community and place, Indigenous culture, loneliness, and our growing uncertainty around climate.
The result is a gritty and powerful piece designed to rally others to the cause, to make a positive impact. And be a force for good.
A rich visual language
In collaboration with First Nation artist Riki Salam we cover themes such as community and place, Indigenous culture, loneliness, and our growing uncertainty around climate.
